Over the years BYM had a very successful football team who for many years played dominating and outstanding football. Both on and off the field they have been true ambassadors of the Bangladeshi youth movement as well as the local community.
Through our youth workers who are now volunteers, we have relaunched the football team. The senior team have participated in the ILAFL and the Bangladesh Football Association summer league. The success of our senior team has meant that now an "Under Sixteen" team has been launched.
In addition to football, additional focus is placed on the following youth activities and sports:
Indoor activities such as pool, carom board, table tennis and board games Outdoor activities such as swimming, camping trips, family outings and educational trips abroad
We are proud to be working closely with the management committee to make arrangements which will benefit our young people.
Some of the services we offer are
Regular daily club sessions on Monday to Friday from 6 to 9pm
Art workshops in conjunction with Creative Minds Art Group (CMAG)
